At our setting, we pride ourselves on offering a broad and varied extracurricular activity programme that encourages children to explore and engage with the world around them.

Our woodland learning sessions immerse children of all ages in nature, fostering a love for the outdoors while developing essential skills. Educational trips and visitors provide unique opportunities for hands-on learning and our allotment project for children 3+ allows children to connect with nature as they cultivate plants, enhancing their understanding of sustainability and teamwork.

Dedicated Projects

We have a child-led approach to learning, focussing on what children are interested in and ensuring they have the time and opportunity to develop their own ideas.

Events for Parents

We host several events throughout the year for families to join us.

This includes weekday stay and play sessions, harvest supper, soup & sparklers events as well as behaviour and parenting workshops and weekend play/learning workshops.

Woodland Learning (all ages)

Woodland & Outdoor Learning is vital for children's overall development.

Our babies and toddlers have weekly sessions outdoors, at our private woodland and at the canal.

Our pre-school children benefit from weekly woodland learning and visits to our allotment.

Opportunities to work with local artists and July Exhibition

Each year before the children leave us, we host an exhibition of art work and projects that the children have been working on throughout the year.

Parents are invited to attend with their child to this exclusive annual event.

Annual Coach Trip & Graduation Ceremony

Each year we share one last memory with the children leaving to go to primary school by way of a full day trip. We also host a Graduation ceremony where we celebrate what the children have achieved.

Off Site Visits & Trips (non-woodland)

Our popular trips off the premises include our Christmas trips each year to Whitehall Garden Centre (all ages) Theatre Trips (3yrs+) local walks (all ages) and many others.
