Our Story
Established in 2004 by Elaine & Keith Arrundale, we are a family run setting in the heart of Trowbridge.
We understand from a unique perspective the need for high quality, flexible childcare and that is exactly what we aim to provide.
Our highly qualified and passionate management team leads a dedicated staff committed to nurturing every child's unique personalities and needs. Each individual here is not only skilled but also cares about the well-being and development of your little ones.

Our Team.
At our nursery, we are proud of the small, but hardworking team behind the care your child will receive. Unlike any other setting locally, at the core of our nursery is our own family. Elaine and Keith and 2 daughters, Louise & Lucy. As a military family with Keith serving in the British forces for over 24 years, we relocated to Wiltshire after living abroad for more than 20years. Both Louise and Lucy were born and raised outside of the UK, immersed in other cultures, languages and ways of living, which gives us as a family a unique approach to flexible childcare and inclusive practice.

With years of experience in early childhood education, our hardworking team are an extension of our close knit dynamic, and each and every one is valued for their experiences, qualifications and passion. We join together to create and develop a nurturing and engaging environment where children thrive. Their passion and dedication ensure that each child receives the support they need to have a great early years experience but to also develop key skills needed for continued life long learning. We believe that a strong foundation in the early years sets the stage for a lifetime of learning and success and that is exactly what we aim to provide.
We have 4 play spaces at Wallys. Our baby room, for children 3months-22mths, our toddler room from 22mths-3yrs and our lower and upper pre-schools from 3yrs. We are a child-led setting and this also translates into our transitions. Children move rooms when they are developmentally ready, rather than dictated by a birthday, meaning smoother, quicker transitions with children who are ready for the next step in their learning. We also benefit from a dedicated 1:1 SEND practitioner, Dawn, whose role it is to support those children who need additional support, whether dictated by medical, physical, sensory or other needs or those children who benefit from working in smaller groups without specific learning needs. Whatever your child needs - we have the right team for them.
